In 2008 the concept of opening a “Chicago Style” hot dog stand was but a mere idea for two Chicago transplants. After much work and perseverance Da Beef was born; and in August of that same year Da Beef started serving tasty “Chicago Style” Hot Dogs and Italian Beef to the foodies of San Francisco.
Each day is an adventure at the hot dog cart. I never know what to expect and I guess that’s why I love it.
Since opening the cart I have had a number of fascinating experiences that I would like to share. This blog’s purpose is not only to share stories but to help my feeble brain remember some of the interesting occurrences at “the cart”.
